Your Open Water Diver certificate is the beginning and the base of all other diving courses. It is recognized internationally and will enable you to dive autonomously with a buddy up to 18 metres deep.
Your Open Water Diver course is a journey into the unknown world. Covering subjects such as physics, physiology, equipment, environments and diving techniques.

Once in Tioman you will start your training in equipment set up and confined water skills with your dive instructor, followed by a swim test. The goal is to begin to learn the key skills of diving, understanding the important concepts allowing you to become an efficient and effective scuba diver undersea.
Upon completion of the 4 open water dives and the final exam you will gain your Open Water Course certification, however at JSA we put safety and comfort for you and the ocean first, with that in mind diver licences are issued based on each participant’s ability, comfort level and understanding.
